How to Change Text Size

Now with this responsive web design, you can easily change the text size to fit your eyesight needs.

Shortcut
If you browse on Companies Registry (CR) Homepage on a desktop computer, a modern web browser will allow you to hold down the Ctrl key (Command key on a Macintosh) and press the + or - key to increase or decrease the text size, and 0 to go back to the default size.

On a smartphone or a tablet, you can simply pinch open on the screen to zoom in (i.e. to enlarge) and pinch close to zoom out (i.e. to reduce) everything.

You may also change the text size from the menu. Choose from the following web browsers for specific instructions:

On the Page menu, select Zoom, then Larger.

On the View menu, select Zoom, then Zoom In.
Or you may click on the Menu icon and select + or - to make the text size bigger or smaller.

Or you may click on the IE Settings icon, select Zoom, then choose a percentage or click Zoom In.

On the View menu, select Zoom. Then choose a percentage.

Lists for the mapping of former company numbers with business registration numbers for companies or entities registered before 27 December 2023

Following the full implementation of Unique Business Identifier (“UBI”) on 27 December 2023, Business Registration Number (“BRN”) (i.e. the first eight digits of the Business Registration Certificate number) assigned by the Business Registration Office of the Inland Revenue Department has already been adopted as the identification number for all companies / entities under the administration of the Registrar of Companies replacing the former Company Registration Number (“former CR No.”).

After the implementation of UBI, BRN is adopted as the “No.” on the “Certificate of Incorporation”, “Certificate of Registration”, or “Certificate of Change of Name” (collectively “Certificates”) issued by the Registry. For companies / entities incorporated or registered before the implementation of UBI, Certificates will not be re-issued for replacing the existing ones.

Members of the public may look up the corresponding BRN of a company / entity by the former CR No. and vice versa by using the “Quick Search > CR No. / BRN Mapping” function provided under the e-Search Services of the Registry’s e-Services Portal.

Lists for the mapping of former CR No. with BRN for all the companies / entities incorporated or registered before the implementation of UBI are also provided on this webpage for easy reference.
