The Job Shadowing programme is an activity organised to expose young people to real business environment, to equip them for today's and tomorrow's job markets and to encourage them to take an early start in planning for their future.
In 2017, the Companies Registry continued to join hand with the Junior Achievement Hong Kong in hosting a one-day Job Shadowing programme for 16 Form 5 students from Ling Liang Church E Wun Secondary School.
The Job Shadowing programme at the Companies Registry was held on 5 May 2017. The programme started with an opening remark by Miss Hilda Chang, Registry Manager. After a brief introduction to the work of the Companies Registry and a tour of different operational sections, the students were assigned to "work" in different sections under the guidance of six workplace mentors. The students showed great interest in the operation of the Registry and displayed enthusiasm in learning and performing their duties.
