
"CR eFiling" is a free mobile application developed by the Companies Registry to facilitate registered users of our e-Registry (www.eregistry.gov.hk) to submit selected specified forms to the Registrar of Companies for registration using smartphones and mobile devices anytime and anywhere.
With the e-form editing feature of the "CR eFiling" mobile application, you can easily retrieve, edit and submit a saved e-form on the mobile device.
You can download “CR eFiling” for free from the App Store or Google Play.
You can submit the following e-forms via "CR eFiling":
- Notice of Change of Company Name (Form NNC2);
- Consent to Act as First Director (Form NNC3);
- Notice of Change of Address of Registered Office (Form NR1); and
- Return of Allotment (Form NSC1).

The "CR eFiling" app operates on iPhone/iPad with iOS 13 to 15 and Android devices with Android 8 to 9. Internet access and web browser on mobile devices are also required.
Yes. You must first register as a user at our e-Registry portal (www.eregistry.gov.hk) before using the “CR eFiling” app. For details of user registration, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on “User Registration and Account Association” and the respective demonstrations at the e-Registry.
You can only login “CR eFiling” with your User ID and password registered with the e-Registry. An Individual User who has registered his/her personal digital certificate in the user account can, however, sign e-forms at “CR eFiling” using either the digital certificate in PKCS#12 file saved in the mobile device or his/her User ID and password.
The font file on your mobile device may not be able to display some Chinese characters that are defined in Private Use Area in the ISO10646 international code standard. These characters are included in the Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (“HKSCS”). In order to display these Chinese characters properly, you may need to use a desktop or notebook computer that supports HKSCS.
Yes. Otherwise, you cannot retrieve the e-forms after the application is uninstalled. You may make backup copies of the e-forms saved in iPhone/iPad by using iTunes of Apple, or copying the e-forms from the folder ‘Android > data > hk.gov.eregistry.eform > files’ of Android device.
