The Companies Registry accepts documents or applications submitted electronically under certain ordinances within the purview of the Companies Registry. Please refer to the "List of Ordinances" appended below. For electronic submission of documents under the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 32), please refer to the 'Electronic Services at the e-Registry' section of this website for details.

The Registrar of Companies has, as empowered by the Companies Ordinance, specified the requirements for documents delivered in paper form and the requirements for documents delivered in the form of electronic records.

Manner / Format for Submission of Electronic Records

 
Electronic records which are delivered under the ordinances in the list can be submitted in the following manner : -
( i ) through electronic mail to the designated e-mail address (crmail@cr.gov.hk); or
( ii ) in cases of diskette and CD-ROM, to the 14th floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong.

Please note that the manner and format for presenting information in the form of an electronic record should comply with the requirements stipulated under section 11(2) of the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Chapter 553). In this connection, please refer to the Gazette Notice (G.N. 2065) published on 19 April 2013 for details.
